<h2 style="white-space:pre-line">A friendly home for chess in Wigan</h2>
<p>Wigan Chess Club is a welcoming place for players of all ages and abilities to meet, play, and enjoy the game. We meet every Thursday at 7pm at St Jude's Social Club in Poolstock, where members can take part in friendly games, learn from each other, and test their skills in local competitions.</p>
<p>With over a century of history, the club continues to bring people together through a shared love of chess.  Whether you would like to practice your skills, meet other chess players, or just play for fun, we’d love to have you join our welcoming group.</p>

Location

<p>Free parking is available in the Catholic Church of St. Jude's car park on St. Pauls Avenue.   </p>
